Planet Eclipse's ego platform is well known for its low maintenance and top of the line performance. It rarely breaks paint in the breech and is in general a hassel free marker to own.
they do require a little more maintenance than most low end markers but they are high end poppet valve markers, some of the best out theref
You can pick up a spider paintball marker at any local paintball dealer. You can also order them online from almost every paintball sales website. Spiders are a common and should be easy to find.
Due to sponsorships, D-1 teams (pro teams) must use the guns they are given. Popular brands are Dye Matrix, Planet Eclipse (Egos), Bob Longs (Vices), and Smart Parts (Shockers or Luxes).

Nearly everything. Paintball guns are fired through the use of air or CO2. Also they shoot only paint. bb Guns shoot pellets, and look completely different then most paintball guns.
No, 11 is the minimum age to play, and paintball guns are not lethal.
That is personal opinion. Both manufactures make solid guns but they are totally different. Planet Eclipse is a company based out of Europe and is known for their "pop it" valve guns. These guns use a bolt and a rammer to shoot the paintball. These valves are extremely air efficient and very easy to clean. Though are very loud, and have a tendency to spray paintballs at a distance like a shotgun shell. Dye is known for the "spool" valve. This is a 2-3 piece bolt that is completely internal. These guns are not as air efficient and must be lubed every so often. Though they are much quieter and slightly more accurate. Both brands have great guns and have continued to produce new models year after year.
