It sounds like you have an honorary card for Satch because he didn't play ball in 1993. He was already dead. Probably worth less than .10 cents.
$8,000
That all depends on many factors like the year and issue of the card as well as the overall grade. Its like asking how much does a Ford cost.
A 1953 Topps Satchel Paige card number 220 has a book value of about $600.00 in near/mint -mint condition. Professionally graded cards will sell for more. Condition is important. Common flaws with baseball cards include: rounded edges, creases, off centered, and faded color. Any or all flaws will devalue the card significantly.
Actually the price can vary greatly, there are both signed and unsigned versions, but the signed version can go for as much as $150.00. One may think more, but it is important to understand that this is a fairly obscure, poorly manufactured minor league card from an almost unknown team. The only thing that gives it it's value is Satchel's name and he was far past his prime by then. That being said it is still a very desirable card to any avid collector.
A 1952 Andy Pafko card is word $1,100
Leroy 'Sachel' Robert Paige was one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history. However, a 1993 Baseball Legends card (produced after his death) is worth about $1-$3.

The 1952 Phil Rizzuto card from Bowman is a nice collectable. Depending on condition, it's value can range from around $75 to $160. Of course, those in bad shape could bring much less that this.

This card can be worth anywhere from $2.50 to around $50.00 a card. An autographed card is worth much more than a regular card.
