It is currently both Planet Eclipse and Dye. The Ego 9-10 and DM 9-10 make up the majority of markers used by professional teams. A few years ago it was Angel and Bob Long, which are still extraordinary guns, but are no longer making the latest and most cutting edge markers.

Dye paintball makes one of the smoothest and high quality marker, while planet eclipse makes the fastest marker so it depends if you want speed or smoothness. There are several other brands that make high end gun, but when you get to that quality of marker, valve preference and ergonomics is up to you.
