Well, the whole reason for sports is to get you moving and get your heart pumping. Moving and pumping blood builds muscles, which can stop Arthritis and bone damage which can come in handy when you're older. And it can also decrease the risk for obesity and heart attack. Actually, it isn't sports themselves that makes you healthy, its the moving around and activeness that's helping you build a better body.
