Pace is the speed that something is moving or changing. Other words are speed, or rate.

usually takes me anywere between 8-10 minutes if i walk normal pace but if i speed up and walk fast i can walk a mile in about 5 or 6 minutes but the average pace is usually anywere between 10 - 20 minutes
That depends on the person. If you are used to a fast pace life then you might have to walk quicker to lose weight. On the other hand, if you don't have a fast pace life you might have to walk a moderate pace. You just need to walk fast enough to elevate the heart rate so that it will burn more calories. Saying that, any extra exercise you are doing, aka walking, will have an impact on your body. Hope this helps!
Changing the pacing can bulid tension and suspense.
