It could, this depends on you individually. If you are lifting light weight high reps because you are trying to get tone, probably not. If you are lifting heavy and maxing out every other week, very well could. I had a friend who messed up his shot because his shoulders got too big and he couldn't keep good form. Also lifting heavy effects more then just your muscles. It puts stress on joints, ligaments, and all that other good stuff. So if you are lifting heavy and are worried about messing up your shot, making sure you are careful and always take rest days. As far as your shoulders getting to big, well that's hilarious. And in my opinion, a good joke is better then a good Basketball shot anyday.
