That really depends on your fitness level. Elite runners do about 3 minutes to the km, while amateurs might do about the double. Anything from less than 30 minutes to more than one hour. I'd be fairly pleased if I did it in 40.

whoever wrote between 5-6 minutes doesnt run-this time would be for a good not average teenage boy
I did my first 5k today in 34mins.
The average mile time would be 7 minutes and 36 seconds if you run 5 miles in 38 minutes. This is calculated by dividing the total time by the total distance.
50-60 minutes.
35 to 45 minutes.
To run one mile in five minutes, you would have to run at an average speed of 60/5 = 12 miles per hour.
I dont know about the actual "average". However a good time would be 5:20 or faster. If you are breaking 5 then you are really good. A 5:40 or under is still good.
4:50 is what i run but run marathons so it i have 5:10 miles so i do that in about 2hours 40 minutes
10 Because 50 5 = 10 Easy as pie!
You would have to maintain an average speed of 11.25 mph over the total distance of the race to achieve that time.
