Div means division and conf means conference. There are 2 conferences, the AFC (American Football conference) and the NFC (National Football Conference). Each conference has a bunch of teams from all over the country. For example the NY Giants are part of the NFC and the NY Jets are part of the AFC. All I know about divisions is that the teams that dont win them go into the wildcard round. That's all I know, SORRY! btw, yes, I AM A GIRL. hope I put some sense into u.
Home means the team's record in games played in its home stadium. Road means its record in other teams' stadiums. Div. refers to a team's record in its division. Conf. means record in the conference. There are two conferences in the NFL: the National Football Conference (or NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). Each conference has four divisions. There is an NFC North, an NFC South, an NFC East and an NFC West. The AFC also has North, South, East and West divisions.
There are four divisions in each of the two conferences in the NFL. The eight division winners make the playoffs and the teams with the two best records in each conference that did not win their division make the playoffs as 'wildcards'.
