Why did goldberg quit wrestling?

Goldust did not leave WWE. He is still in WWE, only he is inactive due to having surgery. He underwent surgery to repair the injury on December 10 and would as a result be out of action for five to six months.

As per the most believable rumours goldberg had mixed relations with the wwe. At times good and at times bad. He had a 1 year contract with wwe and when it was coming to an end..he wanted to go things his way which wasn't acceptable for the wwe management at that time. So his contract wasnt renewed. Moreover he made a blunder in wm-20 by giving such a cold hearted performance...and was jeered by the wwe rumours.

In YouTube, someone had an interview with him , on why he decided to quit WWE, it's partially due to the content which isn't really suitable for small kids at age of 7~10.
