Self Defense
Of course not! That would be assault and you would go to jail! Karate is for defense, not aggression.
You have karate to use as a self defense system.
Probably neither would be the first to use it. Karate was developed on Okinawa and was a combination of kung fu and local wrestling.
Karate does not use weapons. Many karate schools also teach kobudo, which is the use of weapons, and have failed to keep the distinction between the two arts.
Ninjas don't use karate or Kung fu. They use ninjutsu.
Honestly the best thing to do would be either to get a martial arts catalog (I prefer AWMA but Century would probably be easier to get) and order some from there or use Amazon. Using bath robes and cloth belts just looks dorky and unconvincing.
i go to karate lesson a Monday and Thursday night and my sister goes to karate on a Friday and a Wednesday morning.
I would say karate but it is all a matter of opinion.!! :)
You use it in Sparring.
karate means open hand... so open hand use no weapons
defend ourself
There are two ways of translating the kanji that write out "karate"China Hand - Referring to the facts that parts of the system were developed in China and combined with the Okinawa system to create KarateEmpty Hand = refering to the fact that you use no weapon but fistsThe karate masters in the 1920s got together and agreed that they would go with the use of Empty Hand.
