Bag size should be relational to boxer size. Heavy bag work helps build power and punching stamina. The bigger the bag the more power and stamina it takes to move it. The smaller a bag the more it moves and reacts to punches. I am 170lbs and use a 50lbs and a 100lbs bag in my workouts.
