Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier was a series of boxing matches contesting the Heavy Weight Boxing Championship of the World. The boxers fought a total of three times. The first was on 8th March 1971 in New York and is known as The Fight of the Century. Frazier retained the World Heavyweight Title with a unanimous points decision. The second fight took place on 28th January 1974 in New York. Ali won the fight on a unanimous points decision. The third fight took place in Manilla on October 1st 1975 and is known as The Thrilla in Manila. Ali won the fight when Frazier's corner threw in the towel after 14 rounds.
