Being pinned in Wrestling is when the opponent gets both of your shoulders on the mat (and holds it). The match is then over and the opponent wins the entire match (even if you have more points then him/her).

your opponents shoulder have to on the mat for a 3 count that the referee must see and count for you. The count will not start if the referee is injured or cant see it. It will only start when you put a force on your opponent..

Pinned comes from pinfall, pinned is when a wrestler does the count of three on another wrestler.
