No, he isn't a good technical wrestler, not even close. The previous answer said something about how he won 9 WWE titles, which makes him good wrestler. Well it doesn't. Hulk Hogan was a terrible technical wrestler, he still won championships. But he made up for it with his persona.
John Cena's persona is loved by a lot of the kids and women, which seem to make up the majority of the WWE universe, since most of the adults have left since the PG and late Post-Attitude era. This leads him to get pushed a lot. I don't think his mic skills are as good as they used to be, he is boring now with his current persona. But the kids love him, but they don't understand what a good wrestler is. That's why most adults hate him, because he is boring and a bad wrestler, if he still had his rapper theme, he'd have more respect amongst the adult audience.
