By identifying the center label, trade marks, and patens you can narrow down the year to what era the bat was made. The Bats with the H&B labels are a little tricky do date sometimes but, if they have trade marks, and patens it helps. The "REG US PAT OFF" should date the bat to the 1948 - 1963 labeling period.
