Bush announced on September 14, 2010 that he would return his Heisman Trophy because of an issue over improper benefits he received when he was a star running back at the University of Southern California. He said the scandal should not stain "the dignity of this award." It was the first time in the history of the award that a player announced he would relinquish it.
Bush, who now plays for the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints, won the Heisman -- symbolic of the best player in College Football -- for his heroics during the 2005 season.
The Heisman issue arose after the NCAA found major violations in USC's football program and ruled Bush ineligible for the 2005 season for accepting improper benefits.
Tim Tebow is better than Reggie Bush by a landslide. Reggie Bush did'nt deserve the Heisman Trophy, Tim Tebow earned the Heisman. ********************************************* Wow really. Reggie Bush is way better. Reggie won two nation championship games, and played in a total of three. Reggie Bush can catch, run, and return the football. He is faster then Tim Tebow too.

Through the 2008 season, that was USC teammates Matt Leinart who won the Heisman in 2004 and Reggie Bush who won in 2005.
No. He is not related to Reggie Bush.
What is the point of giving a trophy for extraordinary skills, if a group of people can take it away on a technicality. Reggie Bush regardless of how it happened, displayed the type of skills worthy of a Heisman and should be able to keep it!
