Look all authentication companies do the same thing.......they give you an OPINION on whether that particular examiner, at that particular time, thinks the autograph is authentic. However, bear in mind that nether JSA, PSA, or ACE has even one board certified forensic examiner on their combined staffs. So if you think you need somebody to hold your hand and tell you its ok to buy what you want to buy, then you go ahead and spend your $20 for an opinion that cannot be backed up in court because of lack of credentials. There are so many cases where all of these guys have been wrong that its crazy stupid to rely on any of them, unless it is a witnessed autograph from a show or private signing. Otherwise, do your research, know what the autograph should look like, along with variations, and use your own judgement as a knowledgeable collector. After all, thats all they are, and they are only perceived as EXPERTS because they spend millions of dollars on advertising telling you that they are. Authentication is questionable at best.
