Due to the significant amount of history behind it (sport and otherwise), I would say it would net about 5.5+ million at auction. Not only does it have ties with the Kennedy family, but also it is the only privately held World Series trophy in existence. Not to mention the 100 year anniversary is coming up.
Think about how much the record home run ball went for... Then think that the record can always be broken. 1912 will never come again.
I wish I had the money, I'd add it to my collection.
I would have to say that a world series 2007 baseball would be worth 1000
The World Series is about a world championship against the National League champion and the American League champion. The World Series started in 1903 against the Boston Americans versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Boston won 5 games to 3. As of today, there was 108 World Series played ever since then.
Rugby football. it is the trophy for the Rugby World Cup.
i reserched it and about as mu]ch as 200,000.
Probably nothing since the 1969 world series was played between the NY Mets and the Baltimore Orioles which the "Miracle Mets" won.
You would have to be more specific on the year the pin you have is from for a more accurate value. The size of the pin, the year it is from, and if it is a photo pin. A modern pin could be worth around $10. to a vintage pin dating back to the 1926 World Series could be worth hundreds. If it a World Series press pin from 1926 the value could be as high as $1,300.-$2,400.
To know exactly what the films would be worth it would be best to take it to a professional who deals in sports memorabilia. Similar films are going for around $150-200 on eBay.
Do not know the value. Would be interested in finding out more details about the film.
The current FIFA World Cup trophy is made using 11 lbs of 18 carat gold. If the trophy was made out of solid gold, it would weigh over 150 lbs, and it would be too heavy to lift.
Rawlings first started to make World Series baseballs in 1978 that features The World Series logo. Without the logo it would be difficult to prove it was used in the World Series and not just a Official Major League baseball used during the regular season. To, be valued as a 1975 World Series baseball would be in the ability to prove so. A "Game used" baseball would have to be accompanied with provenance, and the quality of the provenance will dictate the added value. A letter from a player, team, or League official would be acceptable. A letter from a fan at the game would not hold much weight if any. Without provenance the added value will rely on the buyers belief in the story.
The winner of the Santosh Trophy in the year of 2011 would be....me :)
If you have her whole collection, she would probably be worth alittle over 550 dollars. If you have the doll, she would be worth alittle over 200.
