only 9 players on the field at once. only nine at bat but you can get a batter to bat for the pitcher
It is a 33 inch 23 oz bat.
There is no such thing as a 31 length 21 oz. -8 softball bat. The -8 stands for the difference in the length and weight of the bat. Meaning..31 minus 21 will never equal 8
They use them for preserving the bat. Instead of spending 300-400$ to get a new bat all the time just buy a sleeve for 10-20$
Because nobody wants to spend $59.99 on a game that requires all the tools of a ball and a bat, both easily available for under $10. TL;DR=Go play outside. Learn2social
There can be a lot of players on a baseball team, around 25players, but when the team is in the outfield only 9 players are aloud on the field. There can be a lot of players on a baseball team, around 25players, but when the team is in the outfield only 9 players are aloud on the field.
SCN7B is a -9 drop SCN6B is a -10 drop
Kind of . Not necessarily . That number is the difference between the length of the bat and the weight . the larger the number, the faster the bat may be swung. I prefer to use a -11 personally . It's great bat speed.
This is a tough question to answer. A softball bat is a very personal thing. It depends on how old you are, how tall you are, and how strong you are. Let me start by stating that the right softball bat is one you can swing! In fastpitch softball it is all about bat speed. The heaviest bat you can swing at FULL speed is the right bat. There are two measurements for a bat. 1) Length, 2)Weight. Weight can be anywhere from 18oz to 24oz. Length may be from 24" to 34". A 5-7 year old may use a 24" bat. While an 18 year old may use an 34" bat. There is one more measurement that you will see. The Weight-Length value. For example, a 20" bat that weights 30oz is a -10. Bats that are -10, -11, and -12 are very popular.
The drop is just the difference between the length of the bat and the weight of the bat. Ex: 33", 23oz bat = -10 (drop 10); 33", 24oz = -9 (drop 9) etc. All-in-all it just depends on how tall a person is and how much weight she can handle when swinging. A -9 would be heavier than a -10, but a -9 33" bat weighs as much as a -10 34" bat. So, if a bat is too heavy or too light it can negatively effect the hitter's swing.
that number at hte end of the barrel is the subtraction of the length from the weight for example my bat the demarini phoenix is 31 inches and weighs 21 ounces and therefore the number a the end of my barrel is -10.
