Babe Ruth learned to play Baseball at St. Mary's Industrial School in Baltimore when he was 7 years old.
Babe Rut made his Major League debut with the Boston Red Sox on April 11, 1914. He was sent down to the minors twice that year, and was also a pitcher for the 1914 Baltimore/Providence Grays, a double A team in the international League. In 1915 he was in the Majors for good, playing with the Red Sox until 1919, and was then sold to the New York Yankees. He would play with the Yankees from 1920-1934, and the Boston Braves in 1935.
