Good question, no-one ever did, and it's unavailable in the Madden games, so most likely no. Wrong! Several players wore the numbers "0" and "00." In fact, one of them is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Jim Otto, who played center for the Oakland Raiders. Ken Burrough, a wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints and Houston Oilers in the 1970s, also wore "00." Obert Logan, a defensive back, wore "O" with the 1963 Detroit Lions. John Oleszweski, wore the number when he played for the Redskins, Lions and Broncos. The number has not been worn since Burrough retired in the late 70s. I am unaware if the NFL has outlawed the number, but it was worn. And there are those of us who remember football before the Madden games were invented.
