To become a professional wrestler you need a very overall strong body to be able to take punishment as well as having great cardiovascular strength. As well as just being in good shape you need to be in "ring shape". This means you need to contact a pro Wrestling school and sign up for some wrestling lessons your body has to get used to taking bumps on the very unforgiving ring and bouncing off of the ropes. I am speaking from experience, when i came home from my first week of pro wrestling training i was a walking bruise i was covered in bruises from grappling and bouncing off of the ropes aswell as having just about every muscle in my body ache. So to answer your question, the best way to get in shape as a pro wrestler is to get into a ring with people that know what they are doing.

Figure skating athletes train constantly. They have to have time on the ice, obviously. When on the ice they need to practice their power, edge qulality, jump height, and spin length. When they are unable to be on the ice, they do off ice, which consists of cardio, conditioning, stretching, off ice jumps, muscle building, using a spinner, and plenty of Ballet.

Cardio includes but is not limited to running and jumping rope. Conditioning includes but is not limited to crab walking, push ups, and sit ups. Stretching includes stretching all the muscles from your shoulders to your toes. Off ice jumps are doing the same jump that they would do on the ice, but off the ice. Same techniqure, same jump, just no skates or ice. Muscle building ties into conditioning, but also the use of weights, hand and ankle weights in order to build the muscles necessary to be a successful skater. A spinner is a tool that simulates the spin that the skates do on the ice. It allows for all types of spins on it as long as you have room.

They need to be in shape to play for the NBA. It's a once in a lifetime thing so you probably won't make it. However if you work your hardest every day on and off the court, you will make it. This means do not hang with the wrong people, don't drop out of school, or do drugs.
