A good pop time from home to first base for a baseball player is typically around 1.8 to 2.0 seconds. Pop times can vary based on the player's position and skill level, but catchers often aim for sub-2.0 seconds when throwing to second base.

To retrieve a rounders ball from the ground, first approach the ball carefully to avoid rolling it further away. Bend down and reach for the ball, ensuring you have a good grip on it. If the ball is in a tight spot or difficult to access, you may need to lean or adjust your position to grasp it easily. Once you have the ball, stand up and prepare to continue your game.
