if you bought it from Walmart, congratz your an idiot. Get a pro board, they are all pretty good. Some better than others depending how you skate. I skate a Girl board because i like their weight and shape, but for you, you may like a baker because some other reason, get a complete PRO deck annd you're good to go. if you're still learning to ollie then it'll last you about 3-4 months. there u may want to buy a new one because of razor tail. When you get better you can tell by the POP, WEIGHT, and Shape

Trust me.. There really isn't too much of which skateboard brand is the best. One person might tell you that an "element" skateboard is the best there is.. And later, another person would tell you that its the worst D: If your going to get your first skateboard, look for the one that you think has the best graphics. Later on, you'll figure out which brand feels the best under your feet!

Why is it that when you jump off a skateboard you go one way and the skateboard goes the other?
Not a skater, but, I am a "nerd". It's because you push OFF of the skateboard. It's hard to explain, but go to youtube, and watch how their feet are angled, and which way the board goes. It will make better sense. Easier to show than tell. Never seen anyone jump off a skateboard and NOT have it go the other way, if you do, Good Job, because I hang out with a lot of really good skaters!
