Conduct an exercise routine to do every day or a few times a week. Lift weights or do pushups/situps. Or go running or jogging every morning before work/school. That means getting up earlier though. Or you could do that in the evening. I would recommend doing in at either of those times so that it wont be as hot. Its cooler then.

I would tell your husband to start doing pushups, sit ups, squats, weight lifting, and running on the treadmill for five miles every day. If your husband starts off doing that he will be on his way to success.
