Japanese Ju jutsu involves neutralizing an enemy while usually unarmed or lightly armed because you can't punch through a samurai's armor techniques were developed around the principle of using an attacker's energy against them using throws leg sweeps pins & joint locks so even a unarmed person could still trip or throw a samurai to the ground & stab him or snap a arm choke or strangle him to death. Brazilian Ju Jutsu came from samurai who left Japan due to the arts dying out (Guns!)they conbined Brazilian wresting with Ju jutsu to create a new fighting form . In Bjj you can fight on your back or get your enemy on their back or others positions to lock choke pin or snap a leg or arm off. (Take note in Bjj you are mostly on the ground not standing.)
Anytime one goes to ground, the opportunity may arise to use the legs and feet in a choke hold. Brazilian JuJitsu is one of the most common arts that specializes in ground fighting, but all martial artists will at least attempt such a move if the opportunity arises.
False. It's a Martial Art. Some forms such as Brazilian Ju Jitsu also have a sport application, but nothing like football at all. Whether you spell it Football, or Futbol there is no similarity.
At a dojo that i know of, they have this belt order: For kids: White White/yellow stripe White/orange stripe White/green stripe Then they stay there until 16 and then get a blue belt. If they have been there for a long time, they can skip to purple. For 12 to 17: White Yellow Orange Green Stay until they are 16, then: Blue Purple Brown Possibly black if they are good enough then black/red squares Then red For adults: White Blue Purple Brown Black Black/Red squares Red But you have to get four stripes on each belt to move to the next one. Hope I Helped!!
