To improve sports there could be an effort made to create a more even playing field for women athletes. Women tend to be paid much less than male athletes and improving pay would help to equalize the efforts made to recruit female athletes.

just always keep an inhaler on hand, also do a lot of running to strenghten the lungs BUT not too much. "short burst" (or sports where one is running fast for a short peroid of time) sports are usually no problem for people with asthma. after time you'll probably not even notice you have astma when playing a sport.
