A figure skate can spin because there are two "edges" on your blade. an inside edge and an outside edge. that is what helps you spin : )
No, you can't figure skate on frozen jello.
pull arms close to your bodykeep a 'secure' position (don't make your body 'loose')skate faster into the spinpractice
Both boys and girls can figure skate
You can be any size to skate.
The recreational skate is not designed for the speeds that the figure skate is. It is a "crossover" between the figure skate and the hockey skate. It is not designed to be as precise in turnings and stops as the figure skate. However, if you do not wish to invest in figure skates for the novice (just in case it's another whim) recreational skates are a good option. The novice learns to skate and has fun without the expense of the professional skate.
Here are some moves you could try when figure skating: - To get up when you fall down - Skate forwards - Skate backwards - Backward crossovers - Forward crossovers - Three- jumps - Extend leg - Spiral (Arabesque) - Spin (minimum 1 rotation) from a T shaped start - Spin (minimum 4 rotation) from a T shaped start - Salchow Jump (Single)
On a figure skate, there is a small pick at the end called a toe-pick which figure skaters use to dig into the ice in order to throw themselves into the air. As well as this, they also have a rounded part of the blade next to the toe-pick called the rocker this helps them turn backwards, and spin easier. However, the hockey skate does not have a toe-pick and only has a small rocker because in a hockey game, toe-picks would be extremely dangerous if someone got kicked in the face with the toe-pick, and they don't spin, so they don't need the bigger rocker.
No

depends on the skate and the size but the average is about 1lb .1 oz
Yes.
A flying camel is a figure skating move where you spin with your leg behind you as high as your back at least and then jump into a different direction of the spin with the same position with switched legs. It's hard to do, and I tell you that out of experience since I ice skate.
