When an arrow is shot from a bow it gains kinetic energy from elasticity in the bw string. When pulled back there is potential energy. The farther it it pulled back the more energy is gained. When released it is converted into kinetic energy. Thus it has large Momentum

Momentum is the force and speed at which the object is moving
