Hard! They do 240k's a week training 2-3 times a day. They do lost of long pieces, 5k races etc. The main philosophy in their training is lots of k's with some intense pieces every couple of trainings while still being a 15k row if its not power pieces it technical work.

Do not join this sport unless your ready for a challenge (hate to be cheesy, but i speak from experience). If you are ready, though, it is one of the greatest sports out there, filled with a lifetime of experiences.
