The original Ottawa Senators, founded in 1883, have won the Stanley Cup in 11 different years.In the playoff format, they won in 4 times. 1920, 1921, 1923 and 1927.As a challenge cup, they won it multiple times in 1903, 1904, 1905, 1906, 1909, 1910, 1911, but were not champions of the year at the end of the 1906 and 1910 seasons.
