There haven't been many because Boston didn't win a World Series between 1918 and 2004. Three players who won world championships with both teams: Babe Ruth, Johnny Damon and Eric Hinske.
Both records are held by Mickey Mantle who had 18 home runs and 40 RBIs in 65 World Series games.
The Minnesota Twins won both the 1987, and the 1991 World Series.
This is a tough one to figure because the Giants did not win a World Series between 1954 and 2010. Meanwhile, the Dodgers have not collected a world championship since 1988. The person who came closest to winning titles with both teams was pitcher Sal "The Barber" Maglie, who was a member of the New York Giants' World Series team in '54. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1956 World Series, but the New York Yankees won the championship in seven games.
I am currently getting the info, but for now, I just know Bengie Molina.
Dwight Gooden (Mets in 1986 and Yankees in 1996 and 2000) and Darryl Strawberry (Mets in 1986 and Yankees in 1996, 1998, and 1999). Yogi Berra won 10 World Series with the Yankees and was the first base coach for the 1969 Mets that won the World Series.
Eight players have won both the Cy Young and the MVP award in the same season. Of those eight, I could not find any who won the World Series MVP that same season.
In the 2002 World Series, both the Angels and the Giants made the playoffs as wild card teams.
The most home runs both teams in the world series was by Toronto and Baltimore in the 1987 game.
