I believe the percentage is between 33% to 40% -- I have not done a complete count of all NBA Rosters, but I am quite sure it is at least 33% (1 in 3 players). The percentage has increased a lot in the last few years because of the Europe, Russian, Argentinian and Australian players now in the NBA.
Only two players went to last years all star game and they are Tim Duncan and Tony Parker.
