∙ 12y agoMuhammed Ali was the first person to hold the heavyweight title three times. Ali first won the world heavyweight championship title in 1964 but was stripped of it three years later after he refused induction into the army. He regained the title in 1974 and in 1978.
Muhammad ali won the linear heavyweight title three times, and apart from that, evander holyfield won it 4 times, and lennox Lewis three times.

You don't play boxing, BUT that was the sport Ali was in. He started boxing at the age of 12 in 1954, he won the Olympic Light Heavyweight Championship in 1960 in Rome and then turned Pro. He won the Heavyweight Championship of the World 3 times and retired for good at the end of 1981.
