There were 2 of them in 1926. Jack Dempsey was Champ in 1926, until Losing the Heavyweight Title to Gene Tunney by 10 r. decision on Sept 23, 1926. So the Answer is Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney. Tunney beat Dempsey by decision again in 1927. Hope this helped! :)
