No, a pinwheel is not a figure skating jump. It is a skating move the a group of skaters can do.
Axel
A double figure skating jump is where a skater jumps into the air and rotates twice before coming down backwards.
Axel Paulsen was the "inventor" of the Axel jump, he was also the first person to ever perform it. He discovered this jump in year of 1882.

I think that there are a lot of things cool about figure skating. Figure skating is a combination of strength, muscle control, endurance, determination, and dance. In figure skating its fun to jump and get the satisfaction of a clean landing or spinning and feeling the adrenaline rush of speed.
I'm a figure skater myslef, and, trust me, every single figure skater has fallen down sometime in their career. It may be the first time they put on a pair of skates, or it may be attempting their first jump. Everybody falls down in figure skating.
All of the jumps
People get points in Figure Skating depending on how difficult the jump, spin, footwork, etc. is. If it is really easy then they won't get any points. Hope that this answers your question.
