Jack Crowe started the 1992 season as head coach of the Arkansas football team but was fired after the first game which they lost to The Citadel. Defensive coordinator Joe Kines took over as head coach for the rest of the season. Kines went back to being the defensive coordinator in 1993 when Danny Ford became head coach.
