When you mean 'D', I am assuming that you mean the semi-circle in your teams goal. If you are the only positions in Netball allowed in the semi-circle are Goal Shooter (GA), Goal Attack (GA), Goal Keeper (GK), and Goal Defence (GD). Keep in mind that the GS and GA are only allowed in their goal semi-circle and the GK and GD are only allowed in the opposition goal semi-circle.
Hope this helped :)
In netball, the goal shooter and the goal attack can shoot.
the centre is allowed everywheer in the netball court besides the goal circles
Share the netball court into three parts and mark it. In the middle of the netball court put a circle. Make a frame around the court. Then put a D ( semi circle ) in the ends of the court near the hoops. And you're done. Hope that helps
I'm not much of a Netball person and don't play but I am pretty sure that the goal attack is in the D of the Netball court .....but I'm not 100% sure like I said I'm not much of a fan so would wait for another comment but if running out of time for any reason I say go with the D
They are only allowed in their defensive third, and must start the game, and any centre pass from inside their defensive 'D'.
Okay, as you most likely already know each player has a certain area of play, except the center, there a 3 thirds, 2 goal thirds (each end of the netball court) and a center third ( where the center circle is).
it is 2 points you specials :D
The Centre Helps out the WA,WD,GD and GA. They are allowed in all of the court apart from the two D's at either end. It is one of the hardest positions to play as it requires you to do alot of running around to get the ball to your GS and GA. Hope this helps:)
Yes it is. The D&C was on the inside.
Netball is a women's sport while basketball is a sport for men. Well whoever answered this question is obviously sexist. I am a woman and have played both netball and basketball. They are 2 entirely different sports.
Wing defence can go up to the D of the opposing side and to the line in the center third nearest there own goal.
The c starts with the ball in the circle on the court. They are allowed anywhere except the semi circles.(Ds)
netball, there is no position called a "goalkeeper." Netball is typically played with seven players on each team, and the defensive positions include goal defense (GD) and goalkeeper (GK). The goalkeeper (GK) is responsible for defending the opposing team's goal and preventing them from scoring. Goal defense (GD) also plays a defensive role but has more freedom to move around the court. These positions are crucial in the game of netball to stop the opposing team from scoring goals.
