It means Goal Shooter - (GS). They are allowed in the 'D' and the area around the 'D' of the Netball Court.

It means Goal Shooter - (GS). They are allowed in the 'D' and the area around the 'D' of the Netball Court in the third they are trying to score in.

:)

here are the other positions as well.

WA-Wing Attack. WA are allowed in the centre third, and the Goal Third in which their team is trying to score. however they cannot enter the "D" (also known as Shooting Circle, goal circle, and Semicircle.) this is an attacking position.

C-Centre.C is allowed in all the thirds of the court but they cannot enter the "D". this is an attacking AND defending position, depending on which team has the ball.

GA-Goal Attack. GA is allowed in the centre third and the goal third in which they are trying to score in. they allowed in the D and can shoot goals with the GS. this is an attacking position, so is GS

WD-Wing Defense. WD is allowed in the centre third and the goal third in which the OPPOSITE team is trying to score in. this is a defending position, and it defends the WA. it is not allowed in the D.

GD-Goal Defense. GD is allowed in the centre third and the goal third in which the opposite team is trying to score in .it is allowed in the D as it is defending the GA. it is a defending position.

GK-Goal Keep. GK is allowed in the goal third in which the opposite team is trying to to score in. it is allowed in the D, as it is defending the Goal Shoot. it is a defending position.

GS (stands for goal Shoot)

it is an important persecution in netball there is only two goal shooters .The other is GA (stands for goal attack)

GS can only stay around one square while GA can go to the center and in the goal the Goalies are the only ones who are allowed in the goal so that is about

GA and GS
