Johhny Burnett. 9 hits in a single game.
i believe it was the cardinals the other day who scored 9 in the 7t inning
I think they do.
Easily and I think the NYY, or New York Yankees, because they are one of the oldest baseball teams and had just baseball hall of famers like Babe Ruth, he had the most home runs for PITCHER: 714 and Lou Gehrig who had the most Yankee hits all time: 2721. Also legends on they're team.
Tip O'Neill of the 1887 Cardinals, then known as the Browns, with 225 base hits. 1887 was the one season in MLB when walks were considered as base hits. When you add O'Neill's 50 walks to his 225 hits he winds up with 275. MLB considers O'Neill to have had 275 hits where most statisticians consider O'Neill to have 225.

The Most Popular MLB team is the Red Sox. I'm not just saying that, the MLB posted a pole one year on their website. The most popular vote was the Red Sox. Number 2 is the Yankees.

cardinals
I'm not sure of the correct answer, but I can verify that the 26 hits by Milwaukee on Aug 2 is not the MLB record. The Texas Rangers had 29 hits against Baltimore in a 30-3 win on Aug 22, 2007.
New York Mets- 32/ 1-Hitters
Stan Musial, who collected 3630 hits with the Cardinals.
A lot of teams have won a game with one hit. Five teams since 1900 have won a game with no hits.
