Collingwood - hence the nickname: "The Colliwobbles" ... It is a real pity for the club really.
In my view the best player over the full course of the two grand finals played in 2010 between St Kilda and Collingwood was Dale Thomas of Collingwood, with probably Brendan Goddard of St Kilda as a close second.
The answer is 5. (1915, 1938, 1970, 1979, 1981.)
As of the year 2010, Essendon and Carlton have each won 16 Premierships. Collingwood has won 15 grand finals, and Melbourne, I believe, might be 4th with 13 Grand Final victories.
15 (of 18) Home and Away matches and 2 finals including the grand final.

Collingwood
Collingwood have lost more finals than any other afl team when they loose is referred to as the colliwobbles That's one way to look at it, the other way is that they are the only team good enough to play in so many finals, also please don't leave out they have won the most finals! But they have not won the most Grand finals; that honour belongs to both Carlton and Essendon.
As at the end of the 2010 AFL season Collingwood have played in 170 finals with a record of 74 wins, 5 draws and 91 loses.
