∙ 13y agoIn 1994, Miami defeated Georgia Southern in the season-opener for its 58th consecutive home win, setting an NCAA-record; the streak, which began in 1985, was snapped two weeks later when Washington defeated the Hurricanes 38-20 at the Orange Bowl.
However, the longest streak(including both home and away games) rests at 47 by Oklahoma from 1953-1957.

∙ 9y agoThe University of Michigan heads the list of most all-time College Football victories. The Wolverines have won 910 games. However, they are second in all-time winning percentage at .732. Notre Dame, who is 4th in total wins, has a winning percentage of .733.

∙ 15y agoAccording to College Football Data Warehouse, as of the 2007 season Alabama has played in the most bowl games with 54. Their record is 30-21-3.

In Division I football, according to the 2008 NCAA Division I football records manual, the record is 40 and held by Nebraska (1962-2001) and Notre Dame (1889-1932, Notre Dame did not field teams in 1890 and 1891).
