Cheerleading is a very challenging and difficult sport. If you don't think so then you should take time to consider all of the hard work and endurance and strength it takes to do a 2 minute and 30 second routine. it is not easy, i for one would kknow. Falling from stunts can be very painful for i have fractured my elbow, sprained my knee, and twisted ankles, landed to many times on my tailbone. cheerleading is not easy and not everyone can just throw out a back tuck or roundoff backhandspring...
i would say that cheer is toward the top of the list at difficult sports...
and i don't care if people think cheer isn't a sport...cuz its a SPORT to the people who participate in it...
In all sports cheerleading reports the most fatal injuries. In womes sports, cheerleading is still in the lead, folowed by gymnastics
cheerleading sports mainly constist of football, basketball, comp. cheerleading, sometimes soccer and wrestiling.....pretty much any sport can have cheerleaders for them.......... CHEERLEADING IS A SPORT, YOU DONT SEE FOOTBALL IN THE OLIMPICS AND THAT IS A SPORT SO HA!!!!
School Cheerleading follows the season of the sports. All-Star cheerleading Goes all year with a beak for a month or two in the summer.
it depends in gymnastic you have the bars and beams which are hard but in cheerleading you have stunting and jumping. then in both you have tumbling which can be hard. i think both of the sports are hard and difficult.
Interestingly enough, 60% of all sports related injuries are to cheerleaders.
soccer baseball hockey swimming cheerleading volleyball squash and many others
yes, cheerleading is a year round sport. First you have try outs right after the cheerleading season is over (which is in march) then right after wards there are try outs and that last about a week. Right after try outs are completed the cheerleading starts all over again. Cheerleaders start practicing early than all the other sports in school.
There's plenty of "points" in cheerleading. In middle school/highschool cheerleading, the cheerleaders pump up the crowd and encourage the sports players. In all-star (competitive) cheerleading, there's competitions to win like in any other sport. Also, regardless of the specific type, cheerleading provides a way to have fun, exercise, and can even lead to college scholarships.
they're are lots of diffrent sports played the most popular are basketball, football, cheerleading, volleyball, wrestling, baseball, softball ect.
Because all the cheerleaders have worked so hard all season on the routine and the stunts and they want to win!
