The first RM 125 was launched in 1975 by the company Suzuki. RM 125 was not competitive against other bikes like Kawasaki KX, Honda CR and Yamaha YZ models and was quickly modified in 1975. After its modification, it was renamed the model as RM 125S.

I had a 2000 RM 125 and the title said like 41 HP. But what i do not understand is how the RM 125 has 41 and a kx 500 wich is also a 2 stroke with expantion chamber has only 54 HP. How is this possible?
