Volleyball does not have bases . We do have positions though . Players may not switch positions without a substitution before the ball is served . After the ball leaves the server's hands the players are aloud to move wherever they wish on the court . But until the ball is hit they must stay in their positions without overlapping .

Can you lead in baseball?

Yes, the runner can take a lead off the base in baseball. That is, you can step off the base a little in order to get an advantage when you steal a base, or when the batter hits the ball and you run. Today, almost all runners in baseball take a lead off the bag when they are on base.

What is the difference between a lead off second base with no outs and two out leads?

A player can lead off 2nd with less than 2 outs but not too far because he must tag up to advance with a hit in the air, or steal if he likes, therefor leads tend to be farther. If there are two outs he will take off with the crack of the bat at his own risk if the ball is on the ground. Some Coaches teach a deep lead at second base with two outs which gives the runner a better angle to round third base on contact. You typically want to take a three step lead, then a two shuffle secondary. The only difference between no outs and two is you are deeper with two outs and more aggressive
