They drove one race for Lotus in 1968, the South African Grand Prix won by Clark. Clark lost his life in a racing accident at Hockenheim in Germany prior to the second race of the season. Hill won the championship in 1968. 2) 1986: Alain Prost (1985) and Keke Rosberg (1982) drove for McLaren. Prost won the championship in 1986. 3) 1989: Ayrton Senna (1988) and Alain Prost (1985, 1986) drove for McLaren. Senna and Prost also drove for McLaren in 1988, the first season Senna won the championship. 4) 2010-?: Jenson Button (2009) and Lewis Hamilton (2008) drove for McLaren.
