It was 3rd December 2008.
Manchester United at home to Blackburn in the Carling cup & Manchester City at Home to PSV in the UEFA cup.
This started when the Rags were guests at Maine Road after the war, and I believe continued once they returned to Old Trafford, so probably pre 1939?
I'm not sure when they both last kicked off at the same time, in the above tie, City kicked off at 7.45pm and the Rags at 8pm. If they were both drawn at home in FA Cup ties in the eighties, they used to be staggered by an amazing 5 minutes!
