If you were going to slow into a jump you would just have to jump higher in the take off. You see when you jump, the speed you gather helps your take off and makes the jump easier. With out speed, you would have to use much more power to get your self in to the air at the right height. The other options are to either fall or( if you're only practicing) stop and start over with more speed. Most of the time if you don't have enough speed you would just keep pushing until you got the right amount of speed. Depending what jump you're doing and how consistant you are at it you need different speeds.
Math and science have many things to do with figure skating. You could use math to figure out how much time it would take to get from point A to point B. Science is also very important because it adds speed and momentum to figure skating. It also adds gravity. If there were no gravity, figure skating would be impossible because you would not be able to stay on the ground.
Figure skating is a type of ice skating. It's like asking "Is a Ferrari more popular than a car?" A Ferrari is a type of car. Ice skating includes figure skating, speed skating, ice dancing, ice hockey, any type of activity where you move across the ice on skates. So, ice skating would have more participants because it includes more activities than just figure skating.
Figure skating is a sport, and you do not need to have any particular education to be a figure skater, though I would recommend getting an education in case the figure skating career doesn't turn out as you had hoped.
I would suggest clothes.
I think that would be figure skating.
It really wasnt evented it was involved from the easterns traveling and later became a sports. They would make shapes aka figures that is is why it is called figure skating
figure skating has generally been around for thousands and thousands of years. Cavemen or whatever you would like to call them would attach bones from animals that they killed onto their feet and skate on ice.
I would say figure skating. Dancing is a form of art and figure skating is dancing in skates on ice. It's very artistic and beautiful to watch.
Depending on the mask wearers aptitude for figure skating and the visibility provided by said elaborate mask I would say its no safer than the act of figure skating with the absence of said elaborate mask.
no she is a figure skating person why would she be a judge you ding dong
I personally say that it would be easier if you watched people in your local figure skating club but then go on the ice by your self so then you do not have to worry about running into people when you are practicing.
Nope! If you do know ballet, it would probably be a helpful advantage but you absolutely do not have to know ballet to do figure skaitng :)
