The Bolsheviks.
To clarify:
No "red party" led any revolution against Nicholas II. The "red party", the Bolsheviks, led a revolution against the Russian Provisional Government.
After Tsar Nicholas II abdicated, the Russian Provisional Government was set up to replace the former Tsarist government. Nicholas was no longer in power. The Bolsheviks, the "red party," led an armed insurrection against the Provisional Government in the October Revolution and succeeded in overthrowing that government and taking control of the country.
Thus, no red party led a revolution against Nicholas II.
The Bolsheviks changed their name to Communists. After the October Revolution at their Seventh Party Congress in March 1918, they formally changed the name of the party to the Communist Party.
Nicholas II's last name was Romanov. His full name was Nicholas II Alexanderovich Romanov.
The "Bolshevik Revolution" was more particularly known as the "October Revolution" in 1917. It is called this, because there had been two revolutions in Russia in 1917, one in February (called the February Revolution) and one in October (called the October Revolution) in order to distinguish one from the other. The Bolshevik Revolution is the one which overthrew the Provisional Government of Russia and put Lenin and the Bolshevik Party (later renamed Communist Party) in power. The February Revolution is the one which forced Tsar Nicholas II to abdicate the throne.
The Bolshevik Party took power after the October Revolution in 1917. After the February Revolution, power was vested in the Provisional Government with no particular political party in sole power.
