Positions Goal Keeper GK Goal Defence GD Wing Defence WD Centre C Wing Attack WA Goal Attack GA Goal Shooting GS The goal shooter and the Goal attack are the positions that can shoot
The GA can go in the middle third and their teams shooting third. They are allowed in the shooting circle to shoot and can run out for the centre pass. They play against the oppositions GD (goal deffense) and it is one of the most important positions in netball.
No, a centre is allowed in all 3 thirds but NOT in the 'D' (the semi circle) therefore they CANNOT shoot. Only the goal attack and goal shooter can shoot goals.
The Goal Attack (GA) or Goal Shooter (GS) are the only two positions that are allowed to try and shoot for a goal. To make a goal in netball, you must be within the semi-circle of your teams goal. Remember if you throw the ball, and it does not make it in the hoop, you are only allowed to catch it if it hits the rim of the hoop always it would be called a replay ball. Hope this helped :) Vicky
In netball, the goal shooter and the goal attack can shoot.

four positions are allowed into the semi circle also known as the "D" or "goal circle". those positions are GD (goal defense) GA (goal attack) GK (goal keeper) and GS (goal shooter)
in netball the goal keeper is only allowed in the third quad of the netball set-out. it belongs where the goal shooter is allowed to go.
